CEC Alicante The CEC Church in Valencia started in July 1996 when Jian Wei Ye and his brother Yong Wei Ye and a few Christians requested Ev.Yueh Yun Li to come to Valencia and to care for the flock of Christians and to train them. In October, Yueh Yun Li came and started a series of training courses for them. On December 16, 1997 the CEC Church in Valencia was established. They started by using the Baptist Church in C/Ramiro de Maeztu. When there was not enough space in the church, they moved to the present site in July 1998. There were 91 congregants who were baptized from February 1997 to April 2000. The average church attendance is 40-60 people. The previous pastors and evangelists are: Rev. Hosea Chi, Ev. Joan Dan, Ev. Yue Ping Chen, and Ev. Fanny Fu for the caring ministry. Aside from the Church Worship Service, there are two Bible Study groups, prayer meeting, Youth Group and Women’s group.
