CEM in Spain

The CEM in Spain was established in 1995 in Madrid, Spain. There are eight CEC churches in Spain – CEC in Madrid (1996), CEC in Valencia (1996), CEC in Benidorm (1997) , CEC in Alicante (2002), CEC in Gran Canaria (2003), CEC in Southern Madrid (2004), CEC in Barcelona (2006), and CEC in Fuenlabrada ( 2008). Bishop Rev. Moses Yang is the overseer.

History:
Rev. Moses Yang heard about the Macedonia call of the needs in Spain in October, 1994 in Holland. On November 27,1994 Yueh-Yun Li was sent to Spain for a two-months of evaluation.  During that time, CEM proceeded to apply for the incorporation of the Christian Evangelical Mission in Spain. On April 4, 1995, it was approved. The office is in c/Francos Rodriguez, where Yueh-Yun Li had first arrived on November 1 and began her ministry.  The Christian Evangelical Church in Madrid and the Christian Evangelical Church in Valencia were established in 1996, and the Christian Evangelical Church in Benidorm was established in 1997.  The Mission office is not big enough that they now have moved to the present site in October 1996.

Purposes:
Church Planting:  Through the means of Bible Study groups, fellowships, activities, bookstore, and Spanish language classes they are purposefully used in order to reach out to the Chinese people and spread the gospel.

Bible School: To equip Christians who are willing to know more about the Bible and are willing to serve the Lord; certificates will be given to those who are trained in the Bible School extension in Spain.

Regardless of district, status, position, educational attainment and financial status, as long as you are an overseas Chinese, everyone is welcome to join us in worshipping God.  We desire to learn more about God’s Word and strive to have a fruitful Christian life. Through the church meetings and activities, we want to show our concern for those who do not understand the salvation provided by Jesus.  We pray that our Christian lives would be improved and changed so that we will have joy, peace, comfort, and continually be encouraged in our walk with the Lord.
