In 2000, there was a calling from Paris to reach out to Italy. In 2007, Bishop Moses Yang of CEM, Rev. Hosea Chi of Christian Evangelical Overseas Mission(CEOM), and Pastor Jian Wei Ye from Spain went to Italy for a mission survey. They saw many Chinese in Milan, and decided to commission Ev. Grace Zheng to Milan as a missionary.  In June, 2008 Ev. Zheng arrived Milan. On 3rdAugust, the first service was started and CEM work in Italy started. In August, 2010 CEMC in Prato was established. Bishop Rev. Moses Yang is the overseer of CEM in Italy.
