Biography of Reverend Hosea Chi
In September of 1966, Hosea Chi was born in Taiwan. At the age of five, Hosea's mother became a Christian; taking him to his first church service and enrolling him in Sunday School. After accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of ten, Hosea was baptized when he was fifteen years old. On March 10, 1991, Hosea married Ms. Chia Lin Chen. Shortly thereafter, Mr. and Mrs. Chi moved to Osaka, Japan where Hosea continued his studies. In July, 1992, Pastor Yang was invited to speak at a revival service in Osaka. Here, Hosea and Pastor Yang met and began an easy rapport and instant dialogue concerning Christian Service and Theological Studies ensued. With Reverend Yang's guidance, his family's support, and blessing from his mentors, Hosea entered the Evangelical Bible Institute. After four years of seminary training, Pastor Chi graduated from the Institute in 1996. Since then, Pastor Chi and his wife have faithfully served the CEM church in Towaco in order to minister the Word and provide pastoral care. In August 9, 1998, he was ordained as a pastor by EMSI. He is revered, respected, and treasured by the Towaco congregation. Febrary 2010 sever at CEC in Taipei.
